2018 Navy Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Let’s celebrate fall and decorate Navy’s lobby with our incredible pumpkin creations. Every student is encouraged to decorate a pumpkin and enter it into our school contest. Students can submit their own pumpkin, work in groups, or get the whole family involved!
Guidelines:
- Please bring fresh pumpkins only! No smelly or yucky pumpkins.
- Do not use candles, and carving is optional.
- Be creative, but please be appropriate.
- Limit one entry per Navy student!
The pumpkins will be put in grade categories. Each grade will have a winner. If siblings or friends from different grades submit a pumpkin together, then that pumpkin will be placed in the grade of the oldest student listed on the entry form. Navy staff and volunteers will vote throughout the day!
Bring your pumpkin to the school lobby no later than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30th. All pumpkins must be delivered with a completed entry form (see below). Winners will be announced at the end of the day at school and you will receive your prize and get your picture taken for the yearbook!
All pumpkins will be displayed in the school lobby on Tuesday, October 30th. Pumpkins should be picked up after school Tuesday, October 30th or Wednesday, October 31st. Any pumpkins left behind on Wednesday after school will be discarded.

Please volunteer to help set up for the event and make Navy festive! Help is needed with set up, receiving pumpkins as they’re dropped off, organizing, and cleaning up.
