Navy Elementary 2018-2019 Directory
Once again, we will be using AtoZ Directories for the printed and app versions of the Navy Elementary directory. All students will automatically be included in the directory unless a parent or guardian chooses to opt out.
How do I verify that my information will be correct in the Navy directory?
You will receive notice about how to verify your family’s information in mid- September. Please act right away once notice is given. There will be a short window for verification, allowing us to get the directory out to you as quickly as possible.
How do I opt out?
If you do not want your child’s information to appear in the directory, you may opt out in one of two ways:
- Visit https://www.fcps.edu/registration/opt-out-forms and select the FCPS Opt-Out Form under “K-8 Forms”. Decide which options are best for your family and return the form to the school office no later than September 7th.
- When you get the information verification notice, you can opt your family out of the directory through the same AtoZ link that will be provided.
Do I need to register with the PTO for my child to be included in the directory?
No. All students will be included unless an opt-out form is completed. However, if your family is new to Navy this year, you will want to register so you can start receiving PTO emails and newsletters right away. Please visit our website at http://navypto.org/register/. There is no cost to join the PTO!
How do I purchase a copy of the Navy directory?
Complete the order form below to purchase a Navy directory. The cost is $10, which includes both a printed directory and online access to the directory through the AtoZ app.
You will only have access to the app if you purchase the printed directory. The ordering deadline is September 28th.
